Kostume 2: Her alternate costume depicts her with the Phazon Enhancement Device

Voice Actor: Claire Hamilton

Bio:

Gandrayda is a bounty hunter of unknown origin. However, she possesses metamorphic abilities similar to the inhabitants of Jovia XII. She could assume the form and abilities of most living things, including creatures and even machines differing significantly in size. Her age is unknown, though a psychological evaluation, her predilection for pranks, and her informal speech patterns in even military settings all indicate that she is relatively young. She views bounty hunting as a very enjoyable sport and considered the veteran hunter Samus Aran her chief rival. She intended to surpass Samus as a veteran bounty hunter as soon as possible. Gandrayda was a very capable combatant, but was often hired for stealth and reconnaissance missions due to her ability to mimic creatures. However, she was one of the few bounty hunters to be corrupted by Dark Samus.

Special Attacks:

  • Plasma Disk: Gandrayda shoots one to three laser disks at her opponent.
  • Aerial Somersault: Gandrayda hops high up and then lands back, stomping on her opponent.
  • Axe Kick: Gandrayda kicks her opponent in the face and then overhead.
  • Biomorph: Gandrayda transforms into her opponent, similar to Shang Tsung's Soul Steal.
  • Invisibility: Gandrayda turns invisible for ten seconds.

Fatalities:

  • King of the Shokan: Gandrayda transforms into King Gorbak and hops up in the air and stomps on her opponent. Gandrayda (as King Gorbak) grabs onto the opponent's arms and legs and violently rips them off. Gandrayda, as Gorbak, holds the torn limbs up in triumph.
  • Dinosauric Rage: Gandrayda transforms into Vertigo (from Primal Rage), leaving the opponent terrified. Gandrayda (as Vertigo) chomps onto her opponent and tears off the opponent's torso. Gandrayda, as Vertigo, then swallows the torso whole and hisses at the screen.

X-Ality:

  • Immortal Wrestling: Gandrayda transforms into Brock Lesnar and starts off by breaking the opponent's back, which causes the spine to snap brutally. Gandrayda (as Lesnar) then does a German Suplex, fracturing the opponent's cranium, and finishes by carrying the opponent with her, jumping high up and bodyslaming him/her into the ground, causing the inner organs to explode. Afterwards, Gandrayda (as Lesnar) yells, "YEAH!!!" at the sky.

Friendship:

Gandrayda will transform into either figure depending on her opponent's gender. For the males, Gandrayda transforms into a buxom blonde swimsuit model posing sensually, causing the opponent's eyes to pop out in a cartoony fashion (yes, this even happens to characters whose eyes are covered because they'd basically burst through what's hiding them) and transform into hearts before the eyes turn back to normal and zip back into his sockets. For the females, Gandrayda transforms into an African American bodybuilder flexing his muscles everywhere, making the opponent fall in love as evident by hearts that fly up on top of the opponent's head.

Intro Sequence:

Gandrayda first appears mimicking her opponent before revealing her true self while laughing maniacally. She then says “This is gonna be fun.”

Victory Sequence:

Gandrayda does a backflip and gives a “no-no” gesture with her finger, saying “You should never trust strangers.”

Associated Stage:

Etecoon Tunnel (The three Etecoons are shown in the background, swinging and playing around, as well as wall-jumping)

Ending:

Gandrayda was on the verge of death after having been severely injured by Ganon Kahn. Luckily, she was recovered by Havik, Reiko, and Skarlet in Outworld, where she was revived through the cleric's use of the Kamidogu. While still the biomorphic creature she once was, Gandrayda was fueled with Blood Magik and was soon destined to follow in the Blood Code. Her first order of business was to bring her old rival Samus Aran to it.
Hello everyone. I once again apologize for yet another delay. It's just that sprite-genius was very busy with things and he's the one who usually helps me with my movesets for MK vs. Nintendo. I hope y'all understand.

Anyways, back onto the Nintendo side. It's time for Gandrayda, the shapeshifting biomorph (possibly a Jovian) from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This is gonna be fun (Heh, sorry).Giggle

Notes and Trivia:
  • Gandrayda's rival is Khameleon. Both are voluntary changers. However, the differences are that Gandrayda can assume the form and abilities of most living things, whereas Khameleon possesses the abilities of the female ninjas in the MK franchise (save for Frost and Skarlet) whenever she changes a particular color of that character (ex. green is to Jade).
  • Gandrayda's first Fatality involves her transforming into, of all kharacters, King Gorbak (Goro's father). It also mirrors one of Goro's Fatalities in MKX, too.
  • Gandrayda's second Fatality involves her transforming into Vertigo from the classic fighting game, Primal Rage.
  • Gandrayda's X-Ality is a big shout-out to WWE Immortals, which is made by NetherRealm Studios just like Mortal Kombat!
  • Gandrayda's ending involves the Blood Code from the MKX prequel comic series. From said ending, in addition to Havik and Reiko (both of whom are playable in MK vs Nintendo), Skarlet also makes a cameo.
